There is a certain aesthetic that is used in contemporary architecture today.  I call it “THIN BLDG”.  …not because the walls are thin, but because the the floor plate or floor plan is thin.  This can be viewed as a more traditional

This “style” of building is possibly more expensive, when you talk about price per square footage; but the qualitative effects of more day-lighting and better ventilation control, makes up for this “surface level” diagnosis.
